Summer Pool Schedule Announced Print E-mail

 

Due to safety hazards posed by ongoing park reconstruction, the Borough regrettable was unable to open the public pool last season. However, residents are invited to return to this cherished facility. To thank citizens for their understanding of last summer’s closure, admission rates have been slashed. Family passes, which cover two adults and up to three minor children residing in the same household, have been reduced from $108 to just $75. Individual adults can cool off for the entire season at a rate of $35, while seniors are eligible for the discounted price of $25. Opening day is scheduled for May 23rd, and daily hours will resume on June 6th. To apply for a season pass, complete the application form.

Brentwood Borough strives to maintain effective communication between the community and the police department. Sewer Lateral Inspection Ordinance Implemented Print E-mail

 

In order to abate the problem of stormwater breaching the sanitary sewer system, the Borough of Brentwood now requires that a sewer lateral camera inspection be performed at the time of any property transaction. This regulation is in addition to the mandate that a dye test be performed prior to closing. The applicable closing company or attorney must issue a $50 check to cover the cost of the lateral inspection confirmation report. As a result, the new fee for the sale of a single family home is $200, with a $50 surcharge for each additional unit. Please note that a DVD copy of the inspection video must be submitted to the Building Code Official with the written report. All final determinations of repair requirements shall be made by the Borough.
