Training Session Offers Residents Critical Survival Tips Print

Although it is an exceedingly rare event, one of the most serious and most unpredictable threats to public safety is the active shooter.  On June 3, the Brentwood Borough Police Department is hosting a training session designed to give attendees the necessary skills to survive an attack by a rogue gunman.  Residents and local business owners can register for this free course here.   The officers of Brentwood sincerely hope that no individual ever experiences the type of tragedy that is addressed by this course but assert that persons from all walks of life can benefit from knowing how to react in a literal life or death situation.
