Brentwood's business climate can be described as small-business oriented.  Brentwood's business districts can be found on the edge of town as well as down the center of the boro.  Brentwood has it's share of large-chain retail establishments as well as family-owned small businesses.

Brentwood's most recent addition to it's business climate is Brentwood Towne Square, which offers a large-chain grocery store, a variety of restaurants, banks, and service establishments.

The Brentwood Baldwin Whitehall Chamber of Commerce is a viable and objective promoter of commerce. While they are a vehicle of business and professionals, their main objective is to make the Brentwood Baldwin Whitehall community a better place to live, shop and do business.

The mission of the Brentwood Business Owners Association is to provide a vehicle for Brentwood business owners to organize their efforts in the development and promotion of area businesses, provide advocacy in the resolution of problems and obstacles impeding business growth and development, provide a representative voice with local government, and enhance a cooperative relationship among the business community, residents of Brentwood, and the local government.
