"EXCLUSION FROM SOLICITATION”
BOROUGH OF BRENTWOOD
DOOR-TO-DOOR SOLICITATION LISTING
Borough residents are advised that an Ordinance regulating peddling and soliciting within Borough boundaries is in effect.
Federal laws and recent court rulings permit solicitation to continue until 9:00 p.m.  Residents who prefer not to be solicited may complete an “Exclusion From Solicitation Request” form available at the Brentwood Borough Municipal Building or simply return the following request.  Upon receipt of the request, the Borough will issue a “No Solicitation” sticker to the resident that can be affixed to a window or door.  The resident’s address is also added to the list of restricted street addresses, which is given to solicitors and peddlers who receive soliciting permits from the Borough and religious organizations.
The Ordinance does not apply to children and students under the age of 16, including Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, who take orders for and deliver newspapers, greeting cards, candy, cookies, hoagies or other products, related to school or organization functions.

Please complete the "Exclusion Request Form" available under Documents tab.  Sign and return to the Borough Offices.  A "sticker" will be mailed out to you upon verification.
