Christmas Tree Disposal Program Available Print E-mail

The Christmas tree serves as a beautiful and festive symbol of the holiday season. However, when December passes, disposal of live trees can be a chore. Allegheny County is offered residents a chance to drop off these cumbersome items at any of its nine parks, where they will be recycled and repurposed as mulch. Trees will be accepted from dusk to dawn between December 26th and January 17th. The closest facilities to the Borough are South Park (disposal station at swimming pool) and Round Hill Park (disposal station near Meadow Shelter).

Borough Encourages Support for Local Merchants Print E-mail

Brentwood Borough is inviting shoppers to patronage local proprietors during this year’s holiday season. Because of our mix of national chains and unique specialty stores, consumers can avoid the malls and browse for a large number of products without ever leaving the borders of our community.  By participating in the "Buy Brentwood" campaign, residents can promote the revitilization of our commercial corridors.
