Government, Nonprofit Programs Help Residents Stay Warm Print

 

Low income families can receive a helping hand to keep the heat running this winter season. Households earning less than 150% of the federal poverty line, which is set at $17,505 for individuals and $35,775 for families of four, may be eligible to obtain direct cash grants paid to their heating utility company through the Low Income Energy Assistance Program.
