Keep the Brentwood 4th of July Parade Alive: Volunteer Now! Print

Brentwood throws Lady Liberty a birthday bash that is second to none in the Pittsburgh region! Each Independence Day, our municipality more than quadruples in size, as 40,000 spectators line Brownsville Road, to watch a procession of marching bands, veteran’s groups, fire departments, and local dignitaries. This cherished event is the product of the diligent efforts of a volunteer group that commits countless hours to fundraising, promotional activities, and logistical coordination. However, because the committee has had difficulty attracting new members, the future of the parade may be in jeopardy. Don’t allow this important piece of Brentwood to become a figment of the past; pledge your time today! A list of available positions and corresponding responsibilities is available here.
