Brentwood PD Helping to Ensure Safe and Festive Halloween |

For American youths, Halloween is a joyous occassion. Children receive an opportunity to express themselves through inventive costumes and obtain tasty goodies from friends and neighbors. However, trick-or-treating events can occassionally lead to tragic accidents, as excited participants, who are frequently dressed in dark colored clothing, may be less cautious when crossing roadways. In order to assist drivers with negotating the streets during our traditional trick-or-treat while concurrently helping parents to keep tabs on the location of their children, the Brentwood Police Department is offering free reflective bags and glow-in-the-dark braclets. 250 of each item will be available to residents on a first-come, first-served basis at the municipal building beginning approximately October 28th. |
