Applications are being accepted by the for an administrative intern to work on a vital special project during the 2019 summer season. Candidates must be enrolled as a graduate student or undergraduate upperclassman in public administration, political science, or a closely related field. The selected applicant will work closely with the Borough Manager to develop a five-year strategic plan for the municipality. Specific project components include a review of best practices, the design of a citizen survey, the completion of a SWOT analysis, the creation of a hierarchy of policy goals, and the development of a policy action plan. Hours are Monday through Friday from 8AM to 4PM. The student will also be required to attend several evening strategic planning workshops with Borough Council. Salary is set at $11 per hour.
